A group coordinator works with us to secure a new chaplain before a pilgrimage. This role can be filled by a lay person, a deacon, a parish employee, or any person of good will. The group coordinator is the first point of contact for the priest, finding out if he wishes to travel with us, where to, and when. The group coordinator then puts us in touch with the priest.

Group coordinators should work with priests who serve vibrant parish communities. We encourage the priest to consider bringing on a second priest as a co-chaplain in order to help ease the task of filling the pilgrimage by pulling from two separate parish communities.
